K-8 Financial Aid
Financial aid can be an important part of providing a Catholic education. Many families would like to provide their children with a private school education but assume they cannot afford it. Our goal at Saint Susanna is for every family who desires a Catholic education should be able to make that dream a reality. We offer Choice Scholarsips through the state of Indiana and private scholarships through our SGO Tax Credit Scholarship fund for our students in Kindergarten through 8th grade. The income limits for Choice and SGO scholarship for each household size can be found in the table below. Please make known any anticipated need for financial assistance at the time of registration.

Indiana Choice Scholarship (Voucher) Program
Indiana’s School Voucher program allows eligible families to redirect their child’s education funding from the state to be used as tuition at a participating private school. Indiana’s Choice Scholarship is a state payment that qualifying families can use to off-set tuition costs at our school. Please read more online and address any specific questions to our Principal.

Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO)Indiana’s Tax Credit Scholarship program was created in 2009 as a way to give families, who meet income guidelines, an opportunity to send their child to a participating private school. Through the generosity of Hoosiers (both individuals and businesses), donations are awarded as scholarships to qualifying students, thereby making attendance at the private school of their choice an option.
The Institute for Quality Education is one of five approved scholarship granting organizations (SGOs) in Indiana and administers funding for Saint Susanna School.

Applying for Financial Aid
St. Susanna School has partnered with FACTS Tuition Management Company to help assess and determine financial need. There are strict application deadlines which must be met for participation in either the state of Indiana Choice Scholarship Program or the SGO Tax Credit Scholarship Program. Families are responsible for initiating their application process through the Principal and providing documentation to substantiate their student’s application in a thorough and timely manner.
- Submit your 2022 federal tax return to Mrs. Abdoulaye for evaluation for a Choice Scholarship and/or SGO Scholarship. This can be emailed or brought to the office to be copied. Social security numbers should be blacked out before sending.
- Applications for Choice Scholarships will be filed by Saint Susanna starting in April and you will be notified when the documents are ready to be signed.
- Additional limited parish financial aid is available for families who do not qualify for a Choice Scholarship or and SGO scholarship. Families who are seeking additional aid in excess of the Choice or SGO Scholarship can also apply for parish aid. We utilize FACTS Grant and Aid for these applications.
